Solar Mini Pod Power System
The Scoreboards Online unique 12v Solar-Mini-Pod Power System is ideal when there is no convenient power supply near the location of your scoreboard.
The unit is constructed from white powder coated aluminium (corrosion free) and has a 50w solar panel on the angled surface which should be positioned facing south to gain maximum advantage from the sun. Inside the box is a solar charge controller which in turn is linked to a leisure battery – select the size required from the drop down menu. The solar panel therefore continually trickle charges the battery whilst the battery in turn powers the scoreboard when needed.
On the side is an isolation switch and a socket for the scoreboard to plug into – the standard recommended power output from this system is 20a which is more than enough to power a Scoreboards Online scoreboard. If you are looking to power something else, please get in touch before ordering to check compatibility.
It measures 510mm wide x 500mm deep x 850mm high and can to be fixed to a solid surface or heavy duty paving slab (Not Supplied).
This unit is completely free standing, requires minimal installation and ensures your scoreboard can operate reliably with ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION TO AN EXTERNAL POWER SOURCE.
